📜 Prism Core Online — Terms of Service
Article 1 — Purpose
These Terms of Service ("Terms") define the rights, duties and responsibilities between the Prism Core Online team ("Team") and users ("Users") regarding the Prism Core Online game, its websites and related services ("Service"). By registering or playing the game, Users are deemed to have read and accepted these Terms.
Article 2 — Definitions
- "Account" means a user account created through authentication with the User’s Google account.
- "Character" means an in-game character created by the User under the Account (up to the limit set by the system).
- "Items" means virtual objects within the game, such as equipment, consumables and cosmetics.
- "In-game Currency" means virtual money earned through play (e.g. gold) and/or virtual currency that may become purchasable in the future (e.g. Prisma).
Article 3 — Registration and Account Management
- Users sign in with their own Google account and are responsible for keeping that account secure.
- Accounts are personal. Selling, trading, lending or transferring accounts/characters to others is prohibited in all cases.
- The Team may refuse or revoke registrations that use false information, impersonate others, or have unlawful purposes.
- Minors should obtain consent from a parent or guardian before using the Service.
Article 4 — Personal Data Protection
The Team collects only the data necessary to provide the Service: Google account information used for authentication (e.g. email), character and gameplay data, and in-game chat messages (for community moderation and rule-violation review). The Team will not disclose Users’ personal data to third parties except as required by law.
Article 5 — Provision and Temporary Suspension of Service
- The Service is in principle available via web browser 24 hours a day, except during maintenance.
- The Team may temporarily suspend all or part of the Service for maintenance, system improvements, fault fixes, or force majeure, with advance notice through announcement channels where possible.
- The game is under development (prototype/beta) — resets, balance changes, or changes to character/item data may occur as development requires.
Article 6 — Changes to Game Content
The Team may add, modify, rebalance or remove in-game content (such as maps, classes, skills, items, monsters and systems) as appropriate for operating and developing the game. Significant changes will be announced via the news page or in-game notices.
Article 7 — User Obligations (Prohibited Conduct)
Users agree not to:
- Use external programs, external bots, scripts or any automation tools that are not features provided by the game (the in-game "AUTO" assist feature is permitted).
- Exploit system errors (bugs) for gain — report any bug to the Team immediately.
- Buy or sell items, in-game currency, characters or accounts for real money outside systems provided by the Team (RMT).
- Use character/guild names or send messages that are vulgar, insulting, threatening, discriminatory, or impersonate the Team.
- Disrupt the Service or other players, e.g. attacking systems, repeated spam, or defrauding other players.
- Engage in any other conduct contrary to law, public order or good morals.
Article 8 — Measures Against Violations
- If a User violates these Terms, the Team may warn, partially restrict, temporarily suspend, or permanently suspend the Account depending on severity.
- While investigating suspicious behavior, the Team may temporarily suspend the Account until the investigation is complete.
- Users who disagree with a measure may file an objection via the contact channel (Article 13) within 15 days of notification. The Team will review and respond promptly.
Article 9 — Virtual Currency and In-game Purchases
- All in-game currency and items are virtual usage rights within the Service only. They are not property with real-world monetary value and cannot be redeemed for real money.
- If virtual currency top-ups (e.g. Prisma) become available, completed purchases are final and non-refundable, except where the error is caused by the Team’s systems or where the law provides otherwise.
- When an Account is permanently suspended for violating these Terms, or the User closes the Account, remaining virtual currency and items expire without compensation.
Article 10 — Intellectual Property
All copyrights and intellectual property in the Service — including the game, graphics, audio, text, systems and any other content — belong to the Prism Core Online team or licensors. Users receive only a right to use them within the Service under these Terms. Copying, modifying, distributing or commercial use without permission is prohibited (streaming/recording gameplay videos for general sharing is allowed).
Article 11 — Account Termination
Users may stop using the Service at any time and may delete characters from the character-select screen (a waiting period applies to prevent accidental deletion). Deleted data cannot be recovered.
Article 12 — Limitation of Liability
- The Service is provided "as is". The Team does not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
- The Team is not liable for damage caused by force majeure, failures of the User’s device or network, or the User’s own actions.
- The Team is not liable for loss of virtual data (items/currency/experience) resulting from normal game mechanics, such as death or failed enhancement.
- Damage arising from out-of-system trading (RMT) or letting others use the Account is entirely the User’s responsibility.
Article 13 — Contact and Support
The main channel for reporting issues, giving feedback or filing objections is the 💬 Feedback button in the game. The Team reviews every message and acts as appropriate.
Article 14 — Notices
The Team announces news and important notices via the news page (website) and/or in-game announcements. Notice given through these channels is deemed received by Users.
Article 15 — Amendments to the Terms
The Team may amend these Terms as necessary and will announce the new version with its effective date in advance through the channels in Article 14. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
Article 16 — Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
